Who is Aman Amun?

Brian McGaw.  I study expanded artforms and computer science at the University of Georgia.  I do college radio promotion for Universal Records and I’ve done temp development and design work for such companies as Yahoo, Sapient, and Frog Design. I’ve been writing and performing music my entire life.  My instruments of trade are a guitar, a mic, a keyboard, and a computer.

What is Aman Amun?

Aman Amun is my life encompassing multimedia project. Why is Aman Amun?

Aman Amun is a conceptual project aimed at exploring and reconciling the hidden and the blatently obvious elements of life.  Both Aman and Amun were names for the Zeus-like God of Egyptian mythology for many years.  Amun, in particular, means the hidden one, and in my artwork I seek to expose the hidden elements of the world and myself through an exploration of music visualization, performance, and composition.  If you like music, check out my album Waxing.  Like the lunar stage for which its named, its meant to be the first stage of Amun revealing itself to the world.
